Westwater/Rabbit Valley dirt bike trip Thanksgiving 2009

Picture
Paul, Phil, and I took a long weekend over Thanksgiving to go dirt biking near the Colorado/Utah border.  We like to camp on the Utah side for easy camper access and great trail access.  We took Phil's motorhome and the bike trailer.  The bike trailer is set up with collapsible tables, bins, and tools for bike maintenance.  We loaded the KTM 200xc, 300xc, and 300mxc and headed out.  The weather in Utah was great with mid-50's to 60's during the day and 20's overnight.  We had a great time playing guitar around the campfire and enjoying a few evening libations.

We had a good ride and found some exciting new trails.  Paul was only able to make it down for 2 days because of family commitments.  It was a nice escape from the snow and cold of northwestern Colorado.  We'll be looking forward to spring and more dirt biking.

Westwater and Rabbit Valley are great locations with a wide variety of terrain.  You can find riding for all skill levels and for 4-wheelers and side-by-sides as well.
